Structure and content
Spend a semester learning and teaching English with ICT in Denmark.

The exchange programme consists of three modules, each of which has its own set of requirements for completion.

1. Teaching English as a foreign language

  • This module deals with communicative competence in English in the primary school and teacher education, including views of English as a subject and a language. And it serves as both a theoretical base for the practical application of English teaching in module 2 and 3.

2. Culture and intercultural communicative competence

  • This module adds a cultural component to module 1. It aims to qualify student teachers' creative and practical insight into learning design, focusing on cultural aspects of English-speaking countries as well as criteria for selecting texts of a variety of genres.

3. Educational practice in primary school

  • This module introduces students to the teaching profession in Denmark and involves hands-on teaching at a primary school. That means the module offers an opportunity to gain experience in planning, delivering and evaluating lessons.
